The Push Up Challenge Starts Soon!

Help us push for better mental health by joining us for the 2025 Push Up Challenge! The Push Up Challenge, taking place from February 11-28, 2025, is Canada’s largest annual mental health-focused event. During the event, participants will complete 2,000 push ups (or another variation of exercise); these push ups represent the number of lives lost to suicide worldwide each day.

There are options for all fitness levels and abilities – you can substitute push ups for other exercises, such as squats, jumping jacks, sit-ups. You can also aim for 50% of the target and do 1,000 push-ups instead of 2,000. As long as you’re moving your body and raising awareness for mental health, anything goes! And you don’t have to do it alone – you can start or join a team or community, and together, you can all push for better mental health!
