Men’s Mental Health Matters
Strong mental health contributes to stronger families, healthier relationships, safer communities, and more resilient workplaces.
When men have access to education, support, and opportunities to build emotional skills, they are better equipped to navigate challenges, seek help early, and support those around them.
Structured Men’s Mental Health Education
Our Men’s Mental Health Network is Under Construction
Participants will take part in evidence-informed educational programs designed specifically for adult men. These programs will provide practical skills, guided learning, and opportunities for reflection and personal growth. Topics may include:
Community Workshops and Presentations
The Men’s Mental Health Network will offer workshops and presentations in communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
These sessions are designed to increase awareness of men’s mental health issues, reduce stigma around seeking support, promote healthy coping and resilience, and connect individuals with available resources and services.
Workshops will be delivered in partnership with community organizations, municipalities, service groups, and other local leaders.
Workplace Mental Health Education
Many men spend a significant portion of their lives at work, making workplaces an important setting for mental health promotion.
The Men’s Mental Health Network works with employers and organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador to provide mental health education tailored to male-populated industries and workplaces.
These presentations help employees and leaders recognize signs of mental health concerns, reduce stigma in workplace culture, build supportive environments, and understand available resources and pathways to help.
