Twila Reid | Director

Twila Reid is a partner in the St. John’s office of Stewart McKelvey. She primarily practices in the areas of administrative law, labour law, employment law, respectful workplace, harassment, investigations, arbitrations, collective bargaining, privacy, and construction litigation. Twila has completed the Directors Education Program with the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds the ICD.D designation. In addition to her legal practice, Twila is a member of a variety of organizations both inside and outside of her community. She served a two-year term on the National Canadian Bar Association Board of Directors and acted as Chair of the National Administrative Law Section, as well serving on the Judicial Advisory Committee: Newfoundland and Labrador from 2017-2022. Twila is currently an instructor of the Bar Admission Course and sits on the Newfoundland and Labrador Employers’ Council. She is also a published author having written in an academic law journal in the area of administrative law and is a regular author for Stewart McKelvey Thought Leadership articles.
