The Canadian Mental Health Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CMHA-NL) has announced “Steering Success: Mental Health Education for Newcomers and Employers.” This program aims to support the successful settlement and integration of newcomers in Newfoundland and Labrador through targeted mental health education and workplace safety initiatives. By addressing key mental health challenges that affect both newcomers and employers, the program will foster resilience, well-being, and psychological safety in workplaces across the province, ensuring that newcomers can retain employment and thrive. This program was made possible through the generous funding from the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills.
Join us for a workshop to share your experiences with employment as a newcomer. This session in Labrador City is for newcomers to share their lived experiences, challenges, and to engage in co-creation of mental health education materials.
