September 13th – The Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk and Vigil has been postponed from its original Sept. 10th date due to weather conditions. Mindscapes features works of art by persons with lived experience of mental illness. The theme of this year’s exhibit is “Perspectives of Recovery” and it will showcase selected works from artists across Newfoundland and Labrador.

June 8, 2012 – Starting on Monday, June 11, 2012, CMHA-NL will be operating on a summer schedule. Our summer office hours will be 8:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. We will return to our regular operating hours of 8:30 to 4:30 on Monday, September 17th, 2012.

HOT SOUP, COOL JAZZ 2012
On Tuesday, April 17th starting at 5 PM at the St. John’s Convention Centre, join us for Hot Soup, Cool Jazz, an annual event that raises awareness and funds in support of CMHA-NL and other organizations who are working to fight youth homelessness and poverty in our community. The evening will feature a gourmet soup competition, jazz music, and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $95 each.
